Looking for an exciting opportunity to get involved with a local LGBTQIA+ organization?

The Kansas City Center for Inclusion, Inc. (KCCI) is Kansas City’s only LGBTQIA+ community center. Carrying on the work of its predecessors, KCCI strives to live up to its mission of offering a safe and welcoming place for community members, their friends, family members, and allies.

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator assists the Executive Director in communication and marketing objectives.


  • Organizing KCCI’s newsletters, blogs, website updates and social media presence

  • Maintain tabling materials, handouts, or other distributable items

  • Inventory all marketing materials

  • Organize KCCI’s story bank and generate additional stories

  • Assist with the planning of smaller KCCI outreach events

This is a non-paying position, and is wholly volunteer.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • A personal motto of ethics, transparency, and high integrity

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Graphic design experience preferred
