DESCRIPTION:The Philanthropy Awards Luncheon is Nonprofit Connect's signature event\, when we come together as a community to recognize extraordinary leaders in philanthropy. With more than 1\,000 members of the nonprofit and for-profit community attending every year\, the Luncheon is Kansas City's oldest and largest celebration of giving. The funds raised at the Luncheon allow Nonprofit Connect to continue to offer education\, resources and networking so that area nonprofit organizations can more effectively achieve their missions.\n\n\n\nLuncheon Co-Chairs\nJeanette Prenger and Darren Prenger\n\n\n\nWe're thrilled to announce Jeanette Prenger and Darren Prenger as the 2020 Luncheon Co-Chairs! Jeanette was recognized as a Rising Star of Philanthropy in 2009\, and Darren was recognized as the Emerging Philanthropist in 2019. This mother and son team know firsthand the importance of giving in Kansas City.\n\n\nPhilanthropy Awards\nNonprofit Connect honors those who embody the spirit of giving in Kansas City by awarding the Philanthropy Awards.
