DESCRIPTION:The Nonprofit Connect Awards Celebration \nThe 2022 Awards Celebration is sold out! We look forward to celebrating with you next year. \n\n\n\nSince the events of 2020\, we have all been tested in ways we could have never imagined. But we have also discovered an inner strength that we may have never discovered otherwise. We have af rmed that our community is vital\, kind and generous and when we come together we can do anything\, especially when things can seem bleak. We have shed our old ways of doing and gained new perspectives. We are Rising Above our previous iterations\, and Lifting ourselves to new heights.\n\n\n\nThe Nonprofit Connect Awards Celebration (formerly the Philanthropy Awards Luncheon) honors individuals and organizations for their outstanding commitment to positive impact in Kansas City. Now in its 38th year\, the Awards Celebration has honored over 200 nonprofit professionals and organizations and remains the oldest and largest celebration of nonprofit excellence in Kansas City.\n\n\n\nAfter two years of being virtual\, we are excited to be back in-person for the 38th year of this event.\n\nIndividual ticket purchases & table reservations are still available at this time. Honorees for the Awards Celebration will be announced later this spring. \n\n\n\nThe categories for the 2022 Awards Celebration are: \n\n\n\nPersevering Advocate\n\n-Presented to an individual*.\n\n-Demonstrated an outstanding commitment to champion a nonprofit organization in 2021.\n\n-Exhibited support for the organization through personal leadership and service.\n\n* Note: Designation of primary role (i.e. executive director\, nonprofit staff member\, board member\, volunteer) will be requested on the nomination form. We welcome and encourage nominations of individuals in ANY role.\n\nEquity In Action\n\n-Presented to two nonprofit organizations (one large\, one small).\n\n-Exhibits an outstanding commitment to equity\, diversity and inclusion.\n\n-Took initiative in addressing societal issues in 2021.\n\n-Continues to foster an inclusive culture.\n\nNonprofit Catalyst\n\n-Presented to two nonprofit professionals (one executive\, one staff member).\n\n-Demonstrated extraordinary commitment to their organization in 2021.\n\n-Used exceptional leadership and / or teamwork skills to find solutions to relevant issues in 2021.\n\nStronger Together\n\n-Presented to a nonprofit organization and another entity (i.e. business\, foundation\, government agency or nonprofit).\n\n-By joining forces and leveraging combined resources\, this strategic partnership achieved greater results in service to the community than one entity could have achieved on its own.\n\n-The nomination should focus on the accomplishments of this partnership\, whether formed in 2021 or previously\, in direct response to relevant issues in 2021.\n\nExcellence In Impact\n\n-Presented to two nonprofit organizations (one large\, one small).\n\n-Found creative and inclusive solutions to expand their programs or provide additional services to their community in 2021.\n\n-Demonstrated resourcefulness and determination to continue mission fulfillment.\n\nProgram Policies:\nNonprofit Connect may take photographs or videos at public events\, so we ask that you read our Privacy Policy for more information.

Vaccinations are required to attend. Masks and social distancing will be encouraged.
