DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dance in the Park at beautiful Roanoke Park! Founded by Midtown neighbors to promote free programs in the arts\, the event has evolved to provide a professional stage showcasing Kansas City's rich talent and creativity for residents and visitors alike. Join us on Saturday\, September 7th at 5:30 pm for a Warm-Up Fair with local booths\, kid-friendly activities\, and yard games. Youth dance performances start at 6 pm\, followed by a free audience dance class at 6:30 pm. The main event\, Dance in the Park professional concert\, kicks off at 7:00 pm featuring a variety of styles including Modern\, Mexican\, and K-pop. Arrive early to snag a seat under the stars!
