DESCRIPTION:What does Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) really mean in an era of social change? What does it look like when corporations say they want to be part of the solution?\n\n \n\nJoin Dennis Williams\, Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Warner Bros. Discovery\, to discover how corporations are deploying their resources to create a better\, more just world.\n\n \n\nDuring this session\, Dennis will explore:\n\n\n	How nonprofit organizations can create innovative partnership models with the for-profit sector\n	What corporations can do to create more space for diverse stories and perspectives\n	How effective corporate social responsibility efforts translate to real change\n	How to tell if a company is taking their relationship with your community seriously\n	Best practices in corporate social responsibility initiatives\n\n\nFollowing Dennis' keynote presentation\, there will be a panel discussion and Q&A session with local corporate social responsibility experts and professionals. Panelists joining Dennis onstage will include:\n\n	Kathryn Harvel - Executive Director\, CommunityAmerica Foundation\n	Janea Roberts - Senior Manager of Foundation Programs & Operations\, T-Mobile\n	Kevin Zimmerman - Senior Vice President PWM Market Executive\, Bank of America\n\nThe panel and Q&A session will be a forward-thinking discussion on corporate philanthropy and what the future holds for the relationship between the nonprofit and for-profit sector.\n\n \n\nThis is a program of the 501(c) Success National Speaker Series.  \n\nPresenter:\n\n\n\nDennis Williams leads Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Warner Bros. Discovery where he oversees the company's global philanthropic strategies\, community and corporate partnerships\, volunteer program and ESG & CSR initiatives. Prior to Warner Bros. Discovery\, Williams was head of CSR at WarnerMedia and HBO. He joined HBO in 1997 in Human Resources and later worked in Affiliate Sales and Marketing. Williams is an advocate for equality in education and LGBT rights and serves on the board for The Fund for Public Schools\, Horizons National\, and NYC's LGBTQ Community Center.
