Rooney\, Ph.D.\, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University\n\n\n\nThis program coincides with the national release of the 2016 Giving USA: The Annual Report on Philanthropy. As the longest running annual report on U.S. charitable giving\, it provides fundraisers\, nonprofit leaders\, donors\, volunteers and others who work in or with the philanthropic community with the most comprehensive charitable giving data available.\n\n\n\nDr. Rooney offers a first look at the new report and provides critical observations about current trends and where philanthropy is headed in the United States. Rooney is a nationally recognized expert on philanthropy and charitable giving.
