\nJoin Connext for an in-depth volunteer and networking opportunity to get a deeper understanding of some of Kansas City'\;s most critical nonprofit organizations. This month'\;s program will be hosted at the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility\, \;assist with \;key volunteer tasks\, and get plenty of puppy and kitten playtime in! \;

Volunteer Opportunity

Note: \;This volunteer opportunity requires moving around and standing\, and attendees should wear long pants and sleeves and comfortable shoes. Upon registration\, you will receive a volunteer waiver form that must be completed prior to arriving at the Humane Society. \;\n\n
Available volunteer tasks vary depending on group size\, but may include: \;
\n\n
\n - Restocking food pantry with do/cat food bags \;
\n - Washing dishes\, folding laundry\, and general pickup
\n - Cleaning the HSGKC garden (dependent on whether) \;
\n - Dog / Cat playtime and enrichment \;
\n - Pack walks with dogs

The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City saves and improves the lived of dogs and cats throughout the Greater Kansas City community by providing preventative veterinary care and spay/neuter services\, education\, and adoptions. The Humane Society also welcomes in-kind donations of kitten food\, kitten formula\, and small fleece blankets\, but this is not required. \;
