DESCRIPTION:Sleepyhead Beds takes gently-used\, donated beds and bedding and distributes them free of charge to Kansas City area children and families in need. We improve quality of life by providing safe\, reusable beds\, and we support community health and the environment by sanitizing beds and keeping them out of landfills. We are the only organization in the Kansas City area solely dedicated to this mission. Bingo for Beds is Sleepyhead Beds' signature annual fundraising event\, now in its 14th year. Held at The Abbott in Kansas City\, the event brings together over 300 guests for an evening of bingo\, food\, drinks\, and both silent and live auctions. All proceeds directly support our mission to provide free beds and bedding to children and families in need throughout the Kansas City area.
