DESCRIPTION:This two-part program explores the nuts and bolts of what it means to be a part of a nonprofit board. We encourage you to attend both sessions\, however\, it is not required. The first session is Wednesday\, February 18 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM. You must register separately for each of the two sessions.\n\n\n\nAre you relatively new to board service? Are you considering serving on a nonprofit board?\n\n\n\nMost would agree that serving on a board is an excellent way to have a substantial and ongoing impact in your community. It's also an effective way to grow your professional network\, develop leadership skills and share your expertise.  \n\n\n\nSet yourself up for success! This is your chance to get the answers to all the questions you have\, and some you didn't even know you had\, about serving on a nonprofit board. She is also a current council member and former mayor of the City of Gladstone MO.
