SUMMARY:Can Non-Health Organizations Apply for Health Care Funding?
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that many of the services provided by human service and education organizations have now been classified as social determinants of health? If your organization provides services related to social determinants of health\, you may be eligible to apply for grants from funders who typically fund health care organizations.\n\n \n\nSocial determinants of health are the economic and social conditions which influence differences in health status. They include: housing\, education\, employment\, food\, transportation\, early childhood development\, social exclusion\, access to health care\, addiction and more. \n\n \n\nIn this program\, learn how your organization could apply for health care funding.
