SUMMARY:Canceled: Pints and Policy: KC Mayoral Candidates Discuss Nonprofit Issues
DESCRIPTION:This event has been canceled. We are hoping to reschedule at a later date. We will send an updated time and date once we have it.\n\n\n\nOn June 18\, Kansas Citians will elect a new mayor to lead us into the 2020's. Nonprofit Connect is proud to host a forum with Jolie Justus and Quinton Lucas\, the final two candidates for mayor of Kansas City\, Missouri\, moderated by Kristi Wyatt\, former Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Programming with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Please join us\, and bring your ideas and concerns as we hear what the candidates have to say about the issues most important to our sector.\n\n\n\nWe'll begin with a networking happy hour from 5:00 - 6:00 PM\, then transition into a forum discussing issues important to the nonprofit sector of the Greater Kansas City area until 7:00 PM. \n\n\n\nWhen registering to attend\, you will be able to submit a question for the candidates. We will try to get to as many nonprofit-submitted questions as possible within the time allotted. \nCandidates:\n \n\nJolie Justus Quinton Lucas\n\nModerator:\nKristi Wyatt is the former Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Programming with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce\, where she worked for over 20 years.
