The larger an organization becomes the greater the complexity. Join Acey Lampe\, PhD who will share her history of leading change management initiatives at Hallmark Cards\, the emotional cycle of change\, and RED\, a practical way to manage change. Please bring an example of change of which you are currently dealing.\nPresenter:\n\n\nAnna Carol "Acey" Lampe describes her passion in life as "helping people understand themselves and the organizations in which they live."\n\n\n\nAcey spent 30 years in corporate America including two years working for the Department of Atomic Energy in Oak Ridge\, TN and 28 years in the areas of communications\, training\, and marketing at Hallmark Cards\, Inc. She has taught over 100 different courses in corporate America and colleges throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. After retiring from corporate America in 2009\, Acey taught full-time at Rockhurst University where she was also the director of the undergraduate business programs at the Helzberg School of Management. She currently teaches part-time at the university sharing her knowledge\, expertise and passion with students in numerous graduate programs.\n\n\n\nAcey holds a BS and MS in Communications from Indiana University\, an MBA with an Organization Behavior emphasis from Rockhurst University\, and a Ph.D. in Urban Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Missouri Kansas City.\n\n\n\nAcey has authored a number of journal articles including "The Silencing of Voices: The Corporate Darkness Nobody Hears\," in Culture and Organization Journal\; a book review on Gender in the Workplace: A Case Study Approach in Gender\, Work & Organization Journal\; and wrote and delivered "Feminist Methods for Dealing with Workplace Inequities" at the International Conference for Critical Management in Manchester\, England.\n\n\n\nShe lives in Kansas City with her husband\, Peter Florzak.
