DESCRIPTION:First Act Theatre Arts has served youth and families in the Kansas City area for over 21 years. It's been a wonderful year\, and we're finding new ways to Produce Possibilities for our students and their families! This spring we're aiming to raise $100\,000 to further the mission of preparing today's youth not only for the first act in a production\, but also being the first to act with love and compassion. We hope to guide and inspire growth in students through the theatrical arts with constructive classes and quality leadership as we prepare families for the First Act\, on and off the stage.\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, April 1st\, we will be hosting our annual Cocktails & Cabaret fundraising event. This event will feature silent & live auctions\, drinks\, hors'd'ouerves\, and live entertainment from our students\, as well as the presentation of the First Act Ambassador of the Year. Funds raised will go toward student scholarships\, program development and facilities improvement.
