DESCRIPTION:Applications for this year's cohort are now closed. \n\n\n\nExecutive Director Institute (EDI) is designed exclusively for executive directors. The curriculum aims to expand participants' skill base in these key areas of nonprofit leadership:\n\n	Nonprofit Trends\n	Leadership Challenges and Opportunities\n	Operations\n	Board Management\n	Strategic Planning\n	Resource & Fund Development\n	Marketing/Communications & Media Relations\n	Organization & Productivity\n	Stress Reduction & Work/Life Balance\n\nTopic experts\, business leaders and seasoned executive directors bring hands-on\, real world experience to each session. In addition to delivering the training and information you need to perform better\, EDI enables you to build relationships\, share information\, and gain support from your nonprofit executive peers. To read more about EDI curriculum\, takeaways and guidelines\, please click here. \n\n\n\nIn-Person Dates and Times:\n\n\nThe in-person EDI will meet once monthly for six months from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Nonprofit Connect's Office.\n\nThe in-person session will take place on the following dates: \n\n\n	May 5 \n	June 2\n	July 7\n	August 4\n	September 1\n	October 6\n\n\nWe ask all participants to commit to attend all sessions and fully participate in each.\n\n \nGuidelines:\n\n\n	Participating organizations must must have tax exempt status and be Nonprofit Connect members. (Not a member? Learn more.)\n	The Executive Director role must be a paid position.\n	Participants commit to attending all 6 sessions of the in-person cohort .\n	If accepted\, tuition must be paid in full by May 1st to reserve a seat in the class.\n\n\nApplication:\nSelection for participation in EDI is by application only.  \n\n \n\nCancellation/Program Policies:\n\nNo refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the program date. No shows will be billed. Nonprofit Connect may take photographs\, screenshots\, or video recordings at public and virtual events\, so we ask that you read our Privacy Policy for more information.
