From crafting a captivating abstract to outlining a sustainable budget\, you'll gain the confidence and skills to write a winning proposal.\n\nHere's what you'll conquer:\n\n\n	Abstract/Summary: Grab funders' attention with a powerful first impression.\n	Organizational Background: Showcase the strength and impact of your organization.\n	Problem/Need Statement: Define the challenge and why it matters.\n	Program/Project Description: Outline your solution in a clear and compelling way.\n	Goals\, Objectives\, and Outcomes: Set measurable benchmarks for success.\n	Evaluation: Demonstrate how you'll track and assess your impact.\n	Sustainability: Show funders how you'll keep your program thriving.\n	Budget/Budget Narrative: Explain your funding needs in a transparent and persuasive manner.\n\n\nWhether you're new to grant writing or want to polish your skills\, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and tools to turn your ideas into funded realities!\n\n\n\nStructure:\n \n\n\n	Two sessions\, held over 2 consecutive days:\n\n	\n		Monday\, July 15   | 9:00 - 11:00 AM\n		Tuesday\, July 16 | 9:00 - 11:00 AM\n	\n	\n	Sessions will be in person at Nonprofit Connect's office. \n	Your registration is for both sessions. \n\n\nFacilitator:\n\n\nKim Flynn is an experienced grant professional\, with over twenty years of experience crafting proposals for various nonprofit organizations in medicine\, education\, youth development\, and social services. Her current role as the grants manager at the University Health Foundation\, where she secures funding for the two hospitals and multiple clinics\, reflects her commitment to health equity and underserved populations. Additionally\, her ten-year tenure as an adjunct professor at Rockhurst University\, preparing the next generation for careers in nonprofit leadership\, demonstrates her passion for the field. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with an emphasis in Latin American Studies and a Master of Science in Adult and Continuing Education.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nCancellation/Program Policies:\n\nNo refunds will be processed within 3 business days of the program date.
