DESCRIPTION:One of the biggest challenges that nonprofit organizations identify is increasing public awareness. Nonprofit marketing is a multi-faceted effort that is constantly changing as attention spans shorten and new apps roll out. Communicating your organization's story requires both sides of the brain\, all hours in the day\, and can often fall to one person. \n\n\n\nThe Mission Marketing Institute is a 3-session\, hands-on learning opportunity that builds basic marketing skills\, introduces advanced techniques\, and allows marketing staff to focus time on communication strategy.\n\n\n\nLocal topic experts from area nonprofits and businesses will guide each session. Each session includes instruction combined with time to work on and create your own organization's actual materials. Participants will also benefit from connecting with and learning from a peer community of nonprofit marketing professionals.\n\n\n\nTopics Include: \n\n\n	Developing and Creating a Marketing Strategy\n	Website Design & SEO\n	Data Analytics\n	Social Media & Newsletters\n	Storytelling\n	Direct Mail Marketing\n\n\nStructure:\n\n\n	The institute consists of three weekly sessions from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on the following Tuesdays\, October 7th\, 14th and 21st.\n	Only one participant per organization.\n	Each session includes nonprofit experts and experienced business leaders who bring hands-on\, real-life experience to the topics.\n	Sessions will be held at Nonprofit Connect\, \n	1703 Wyandotte\, Suite 100\, Kansas City\, MO 64108\n	\n	Attendance is limited to 20 participants.\n	Registration fee includes all materials\, meals and snacks.\n	Cost: $500.\n\n\nGuidelines:\n\nParticipants must  \n\n\n	Be a paid employee of a nonprofit organization\n	Be a Nonprofit Connect member\n	Commit to attending all three sessions in full\n\n\n\nCancellation/Program Policies:\n\nNo refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the program date. No shows will be billed. Please note when registering if you have dietary restrictions.
