DESCRIPTION:The Nonprofit Managers Institute (NMI) is a transformative learning program crafted to empower nonprofit organizations by cultivating stronger\, more confident leaders. This immersive experience is designed to equip nonprofit managers with the essential supervisory and leadership skills needed to excel in their roles\, drive organizational success\, and foster a culture of strategic impact.\n\nThrough a comprehensive curriculum\, participants will sharpen their professional expertise\, gaining the tools and insights to navigate complex challenges\, inspire teams\, and contribute to their organization's mission in more meaningful and strategic ways. NMI is not just a training program it's an investment in building the next generation of impactful nonprofit leaders.\nThe course addresses three aspects of leadership:\n\n\n	Personal/Professional - Understanding your style and strengths using the DiSC Assessment.\n	People - Leading a high-performing team\, exposure to employment law and HR principles.\n	Planning - Creating systems\, contributing to the strategic plan\, and improving operations.\n\n\nObjectives:\n\n\n	Participating managers understand their management style and the styles of those they lead to increase productivity and performance. \n	Grow a manager's knowledge of best practices in nonprofit operations\, management\, and HR practices.\n	Provide managers with valuable tools\, samples\, and reference materials.\n	Connect managers with a peer community of informed and engaged nonprofit professionals.\n\n\nStructure:\n\n\n	Nonprofit Managers Institute (NMI) consists of three full-day sessions from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on the following days: \n\n	\n		Tuesday\, August 11th\n		Wednesday\, August 12th\n		Thursday\, August 13th\n	\n	\n	Each session includes nonprofit experts and experienced business leaders who bring hands-on\, real-life experience to each topic.\n	Sessions will be held in person. Attendance is limited to 15 participants. \n\n\nGuidelines:\n\n\n	Participants must be Nonprofit Connect members.\n	Participants must be in a nonprofit organization's paid managerial/supervisory position.\n	Participants must be current nonprofit supervisors who lead a team of two or more.\n	Participants must commit to attending all three sessions entirely.\n	Participation may be limited to one person per organization.\n\n\n\nCancellation/Program Policies:\n No refunds will be processed after October 3rd. No-shows will be billed. Full program fee payment must be received ten days prior to the event. Nonprofit Connect may take photographs\, screenshots\, or video recordings at public and virtual events\, so we ask that you read our Privacy Policy for more information\n\n.
