Health Forward Foundation works every day to support and build inclusive\, powerful\, and healthy communities characterized by racial equity and economically just systems.\n\nPresenter and Panelists:\n\n\nMcClain Bryant Macklin joined Health Forward in 2020 as director of policy and strategic initiatives. She is responsible for establishing the strategy for Health Forward?s policy priorities and executing a plan to fulfill those objectives through direct lobbying\, grantmaking\, and strategic partnerships and initiatives. Prior to joining Health Forward\, McClain served as director of policy and research for the Greater Kansas City Civic Council. McClain earned a bachelor?s degree in business administration and a Master of Business Administration from Florida A&M university. She also holds a law degree from The George Washington University Law School.\n\n\nPattie Mansur is Director of Communications & Health Policy at REACH Healthcare Foundation. In this role\, she is responsible for local and state policy monitoring\, media relations and the development of communications products and tools that describe the Foundation?s funding interests and community investments. Mansur joined the Foundation in June 2007. Her background includes marketing\, communications and fund development for private foundations\, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRyan Barker joined Missouri Foundation for Health in 2002 and assisted in establishing and growing its Health Policy area. As the vice president of strategic initiatives since 2019\, he is responsible for coordinating the team?s work and providing leadership on the direction and content of the area?s work. At MFH\, Barker has developed expertise on Missouri?s Medicaid program\, health equity\, federal health reform issues\, and policy options to provide health coverage for the uninsured. He holds a master?s in social work from University of Cincinnati\, and received a master?s degree in public policy administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.\n\n\n\n\nDavid Jordan is the President of the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund\, joining the Fund in February 2018. Before joining the Fund\, David served as the executive director of the Alliance for a Healthy Kansas\, a coalition of over 100 organizations working to improve health and access to health care in Kansas. David oversaw the Alliance?s operations and the effort to expand KanCare\, Kansas?
