SUMMARY:Virtual Nonprofit Executive Breakfast\, January 2022
DESCRIPTION:Nonprofit Executive Breakfasts are held three times a year with the goal of bringing together the executive leaders of Kansas City's nonprofits for idea sharing and networking. \n\nPlease note: Attendance at this breakfast is solely for nonprofit executive directors and CEOs.\n\n\n\nYour broken printer is leading to a broken team...and what to do to fix it!\n\nAs nonprofit executives\, you're responsible for the performance of your organization\, including creating and leading effective teams. Too often\, leaders focus on improving people to get better performance. This old paradigm leads to burnout\, frustration\, and temporary results that don't last. If you're looking to make high-performance\, high-belonging teams the default rather than the exception in your organization\, then this session is for you. \n\n\n\nJoin Charlie Gilkey\, founder of Productive Flourishing and author of award winning book Start Finishing: How to go from Idea to Done\, for an action-packed hour of productivity coaching. During this session\, Charlie will share his method to improve team performance by helping you understand your team's defaults\, habits\, tacit behaviors and other "workways." \n\n\n\nParticipants will hear tangible examples of workplace woes and leave equipped to solve the little snags that tank productivity and team morale. All participants will also receive a worksheet to help you put these lessons into practice in your workplace. \n\n\n\nThis is a program of the Executive Leadership Track. \nPresenter:\n\nCharlie Gilkey is the founder of Productive Flourishing\, a company that helps professional creatives\, leaders\, and changemakers take meaningful action on work that matters. He is internationally recognized as a thought leader on productivity\, planning\, strategy\, and leadership for creative people.\n\nCharlie is the author of the forthcoming Workways and Start Finishing: How to Go from Idea to Done. Start Finishing is a Publishers Weekly Fall 2019 Top 10 Business and Economics Book\, a Kirkus Reviews Top Indie Book\, and the winner of the Eric Hoffer Grand Prize in 2020. He's also an Army veteran and near-PhD in philosophy.\n\n\n\nCancellation/Program Policies:\nNo refunds will be processed within 3 business days of the program date. No shows will be billed. Nonprofit Connect may take photographs\, screenshots\, or video recordings at public and virtual events\, so we ask that you read our Privacy Policy for more information. Each registration is for one individual. We kindly ask that you do not circulate your webinar link with others who have not registered.\n\n\n\nSo that we can serve you better\, we want to understand who is in the room. You will be asked two demographics questions as you register for this event. We will never share your individual information\, and we will only report on demographics in aggregate. Any questions or comments? Contact us at info@npconnect.org.
