DESCRIPTION:Join the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Kansas City (YNPNkc) for a rare\, behind the scenes tour of Rose Brooks Center\, a local leader in providing innovative domestic violence programs and support.\n\n\n\nRose Brooks is committed to breaking the cycle of violence and has served thousands of adults\, children\, and their pets for over 40 years. In addition to offering emergency shelter to escape crisis and danger\, the Center also provides prevention programming\, life skills development\, court advocacy\, and therapeutic services.\n\n\n\nTake a tour of the Center\, a new in-house health clinic\, and Paws Place that makes Rose Brooks the first domestic violence shelter in the region to welcome family pets. Hear from Eva Vlach\, Health Services Director\, and have the opportunity ask questions. Light refreshments and snacks will be served while you network with other young professionals.\n\n\n\nBecause of the uniqueness of this tour\, only 20 registrations will be offered. Please let us know if you cannot attend so we can open your spot to someone else.\n\n\n\nTo thank Rose Brooks Center for their time and help the people they serve\, we are asking that registrants look over their in-kind needs list for items you might like to donate.
