Events Director; Treasurer
Due West Therapeutic Riding Center ("Due West TRC") provides therapeutic riding services to children and adults with disabilities and other therapeutic needs. Our program forms a connection between horse and rider that improves our clients' overall well-being. Our program is designed to serve individuals with physical, socio-emotional and cognitive disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, limited mobility, emotional disorders and vision and hearing impairments.



We are looking for someone with expertise in event planning, coordinating and execution. This creative, high-energy, results-driven individual will be responsible for overseeing all things related to our annual auction, which is held the first Saturday after the Memorial Day weekend. Fundraising and community outreach experience are

strongly desired but will consider candidates looking to devote the time and energy necessary to succeed.



We are also looking for a Treasurer. This person must possess significant accounting and finance experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.



This is an all-volunteer Board and membership is a year-round commitment. All Board members are required to serve on our annual auction committee. We also desire our Directors to volunteer at least once a month with our riders. 



Term length is two years, with the option to serve two terms. The Board meets once a month, currently, the third Monday of each month.
