Manager - Accounting

  • Bachelors Degree 
  • Minimum 3 years in Accounts Payable function 

Manage cash receipts.

  1. Deposit checks with remote deposit

  2. Deposit cash at bank as needed

  3. Enter transactions of cash receipts into MIP on a timely basis

  4. Reconcile petty cash monthly

  5. Reconcile donations to monthly gift reports

Create budgets and bill grant agencies based upon Grant MOU’s. 

Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and assists auditors with annual report preparation.

Prepare biweekly payroll journals and enter into accounting system.

Manage all accounts payable

  1. Ensure all invoices are accurate and approved

  2. Follow up with vendors and staff with any issues

  3. Enter accounts payable invoices into MIP

  4. On a weekly basis, prepare checks authorized by VP Administration

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly expenditure reports to all Departments and Units.
  • Provide technical assistance to the various departments.

  • Assist the Vice President with the external auditor, insurance carriers, and other groups.
