CRM and Prospect Research Coordinator

The CRM and Prospect Research Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the database as well as providing research on donor prospects and foundations that supports the philanthropic work of the advancement and foundation departments.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES
  • Use Microsoft Office applications and other applications as assigned to maintain, track, analyze, present, and report data.
  • Operate a variety of office equipment including PC, tablet, photocopier, fax, scanner, and printer.
  • Use campus information system to scan or record student notes and activities and process expense reports.
  • Conducting diagnostic tests and evaluating performance metrics.
  • Performing database maintenance, mitigation and upgrading hardware and software.
  • Keeping up to date with developments and trends in database management.
  • Send written and electronic communications such as emails, postcards, and tweets
  • Interacts with alumni and donors in a manner that builds strong relationships.
  • Demonstrates a strong service orientation in meeting the needs of constituents.
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with campus constituencies.
  • Communicate in a polite and pleasant manner at all times.
  • Maintains accurate and current alumni and donor records using institutional software.
  • Ensures timely data entry of appropriate information regarding alumni and donors.
  • Understand the relationships of the constituents within the database to inform VP of Advancement and CUKC leadership
  • Processes gifts with acknowledgement letters as well as annual reports.
  • Produce reports based on annual needs as well as special projects.
  • Proficient knowledge in the prospect research software
  • Produce in-depth, well written reports on prospects and donors
  • Incorporate prospect research into RaisersEdge donor records
  • Coordinates preparation and logistics for special events.
  • Provides support at events as required to ensure successful achievement of event goals.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of position.
  • Provides administrative support to advancement and alumni departments
  • Performs additional tasks as needed and/or requested.
  • Participates in activities that advance the mission.
  • Participates in committees, workgroups, etc. as appropriate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates Degree
  • Two years of experience in higher education or related non-profit role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four years of experience with relational databases (e.g. Blackbaud Raisers Edge)
