Part Time, Regular (up to 20 hours per week)
Monday through Thursday (and certain weekends/evenings)

THE WHO and WHERE
We are Lyric Opera of Kansas City, thriving as one of the nations’ premier regional opera companies.  We produce opera in a fun, fast-paced environment in the East Crossroads of downtown Kansas City and we perform at the amazing Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, in our own Michael and Ginger Frost Production Arts Building and other locations around the metro area.
THE WHAT and WHEN and HOW MUCH
Earn $12.75 per hour as a part-time Ticketing and Patron Services Rep. Hours will vary and can occur during the day and certain performance evenings and other times as needed. Refer to our website at www.kcopera.org for specific performances dates for 2021-22. 
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
Are you ready to be a member of the Ticketing & Patron Services team by performing daily transactional and data entry functions?  Can you provide patron satisfaction through excellent customer service and strive to increase participation in our Company events by using consistent, proven sales techniques?  Are you ready to be the first point of contact with the public for Lyric Opera and juggle our phone and front door systems, mail processes and supplies?  Then, yes, you may have what it takes. Read further.
The ideal candidate has one to three years of experience in sales and/or customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills, superior customer service skills and is self-motivated and detail oriented.  Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook) is a given, but proficiency in Tessitura is a BIG PLUS!
