Database and Constituent Relations Manager

OMNI is honored to be retained by United WE in their search for a Database and Constituent Relations Manager. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate donor and Appointments Project® records, producing quality fundraising reports/dashboards, supporting quality donor and appointee relations and assisting the Development and Appointments Project® team.  Position Summary 

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Database and Development Manager will: 

  • Lead best practices and processes related to database management, donor and appointee communication/stewardship and maintenance of data integrity by utilizing all Salesforce standard operating procedures.  

  • Coordinate donor acknowledgments, tax receipts, mailing lists, and other stewardship processes. Work with Development team to develop and implement stewardship strategies that strengthen long-term donor relationships.  

  • Prepare accurate and timely campaign, committee and other fundraising reports and dashboards. 

  • Coordinate stewardship, event registration and prospecting technologies for the Development & Appointments Project® teams, including Givebutter, ThankView, Mailchimp, Formstack and Crowdcast. 

  • Support development moves management and portfolio management processes. 

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Appointments Project®, including assisting with prospect research, processing applications, maintaining the Appointments Project® database in Salesforce, developing tracking tools and program metrics, and coordinating communications and other related events. 

  • Assist with strategy and successful execution of signature events and development initiatives, including Champion Breakfast event, We Work For Change annual event, Ambassadors Program, Women’s History Month, International Women’s Day, etc. 

  • Interact professionally with donors and appointee applicants while respecting confidential information. 

Position Qualifications  

  • Demonstrated success building and managing a donor CRM database system required. Experience working with Salesforce preferred.  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience. 

  • Experience with donor-centric communications and direct appeals is a distinct and desired advantage.  

  • Advanced knowledge of technical computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) including the ability to utilize technology for research, as well as social media competency with LinkedIn and other platforms.  

  • Must have a high attention to accuracy and detail, have a service-oriented mentality, strong sense of project ownership and have a strong understanding and awareness of system integration. 

  • Demonstrable commitment to data integrity and confidentiality of data.  

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with emphasis on building relationships and the ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external constituents.  

  • Self-motivated to set, attain and surpass goals with minimal supervision. 

  • Strong analytical and project management skills. 

  • Solid commitment to the advancement of women’s economic and civic leadership.  

  • An active listener with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated collaboration ability.
