Family Life Educator: Part-time (15-20 hours/week), starting ASAP

We proudly serve more than 10,000 people annually through our KesherKC Social Services and Food Pantry, Older Adult Services. Mental Health Services and Education, Chaplaincy, and Jewish life. Position Summary: JFS’s Family Life Educator will be warm, engaging, energetic, and people-oriented, who loves creating curricula & program content for Jewish education for people all stages of life from parents of newborns to school-age children to young adults to seniors. This individual will excel at collaboration, and has expertise in the Jewish community, working with local congregations, day schools, and Jewish organizations throughout Kansas City.

The right candidate will have experience in Jewish education program design, development, and implementation, particularly in informal/experiential settings and with young and adult learners. We need someone with experience juggling multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic and nimble environment 

Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Jewish Studies or equivalent experience preferred.
