- Ensures confidentiality, safety and security of all clients maintained.
- Supervises Shelter Operations Manager and the Program Director ensuring 24/7 coverage and compliance with all policy and procedures. Filling in as needed.
- Provides and directs delivery of direct services (crisis hotline, safety planning, crisis intervention, CVC, intake/exit, general life skills) for clients as required and needed.
- Ensures both clients and staff understand grievance procedure(s) and resolves conflict per policy.
- Participates in biweekly Program Meeting to review residential client status/progress towards goals.
- Ensures correct entry of all services provided in shelter into database and completes reports as needed.
- Approves bi-monthly payroll and activity sheets, and attendance for shelter support staff
- Approves shelter mail and money handling in compliance with financial policy and procedures.
- Assist Shelter Operations Manager schedule and oversees general maintenance of the premises and grounds; includes shelter cleanliness, annual fire extinguisher maintenance, mowing/snow removal, pest control, lighting, appliances/equipment in working order with prior approval from Executive Director.
- Coaches, trains, evaluate performance; maintains accurate documentation related to performance.
- Recruits, qualifies, coordinates interview times, and recommends candidates for the shelter support staff hire/termination.
- Recruits, qualifies, coordinates interview times, and recommends volunteers for projects and activities.
- Participates in training and orientation of all staff and volunteers.
- Oversees collection and timely delivery of accurate grant/coalition reporting requirements (outcomes, shift reports, bed nights, crisis hotline/crisis intervention, emergency financial, housing, payroll, etc..) to directors for billing.
- Participates in program PR activities including community events; fundraising events; promotional events.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Supports Executive Director in administration of overall program operations, training, and community outreach representing organization in courteous, knowledgeable, and professional manner
- Supports Executive Director with financials and personnel as directed by Executive Director and approved by the Board of Directors
- Assistant Executive Director as needed to ensure the provision of safe and supportive services to victims
- Assists Program Director in coordinating program services to both outreach and residential clients
- Assists Shelter Operations Manager to ensure day-to-day operations of the shelter.
- Works together with Shelter Manager to ensure the provision of safe and supportive programs and services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence
