About GateWay of Hope:
GateWay of Hope, a faith-based nonprofit organization, was launched in 2006 to provide women a safe, confidential and hope centered environment of support. Our vision is to serve as the premier place where women can transform their lives and create new legacies -- positively impacting themselves and future generations. Located in Olathe, Kansas, women come to GateWay of Hope from all over the metropolitan Kansas City area to receive counseling, coaching, and support group services. GateWay of Hope takes a comprehensive approach to meeting their needs -- which benefits children, families, the community, and contributes to breaking the cycle of family violence.
The opportunity: The GateWay of Hope Executive Director (ED) reports to the Board of Directors and is the visionary and face of Gateway. The ED is staff leader and is responsible for overseeing the organization’s effort to achieve its mission.
Key responsibilities are:

Provide strategic leadership, organizational management and commit to GateWay of Hope mission.

Lead the staff by inspiring them, providing a comfortable work environment, supporting growth and development of existing staff, motivating them to work hard to accomplish the organization's goal.

Exercise responsible financial stewardship, drive donor engagement and fundraising efforts by building relationships with individual and institutional funders.

Engages the board in planning, leading implementations by monitoring organizations mission and vision and setting strategies to understand financial implications.

Participates with the board in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by setting and reviewing policies.
- Ensures the design and implementation of marketing strategies that promote GateWay of Hope’s brand in the community.

Collaborate with grant writer and grantors to execute successful grant proposals as well as effectively manage current grants and contracts.
