Manager, Community Programs

The Manager position will oversee the Team for Infants Exposed to Substance use (TIES) program. The TIES Manager provides leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations. The TIES Manager promotes advancement of the TIES model by advocating for at risk infants and families at local, state, and national levels. The Manager is responsible for overall personnel management, continued model development and promotion, quality improvement, program development and leadership within the hospital and community to improve health outcomes of families with young children.

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Social Work and 7 or more years experience
- Demonstrated increasing responsibility in social work such as leadership in a hospital, the community; or professional organization; supervision of students; political advocacy or administrative oversight
- LCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO Clinical Social Work License Required Upon Hire
- LSCSW KS Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS SW License in KS and MO Required Upon Hire 
 
Remote Work/Work from Home
This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
