Interview program participants in order to develop an Individual Employment Plan.

Provide job seeking skills through training and developing strategies, job readiness skills unique to each program participant based on their immediate barrier,assist with creating resumes, writing cover letters and basic computer skills.

Create win – win job preparedness skills and instruct on how to dress for success.

Develop techniques and ways to obtain positive outcomes for program participantswith a goal to ensure job retention.

Maintain and monitor accurate documentation for continued CARF compliance standards 
as well as all other governing/funding source requirements.
Maintain positive representation on behalf of the agency and its consumers to the
community, to the public and to private agencies.
  • BA degree preferred will accept HS Diploma with minimum of two years work experience in job placement.
  • Must be CPR and First Aid certified within the first six months of employment.
  • Region VII CRP-RCEP Certification in Employment Services strongly encouraged within first six months of employment.
  • Region VII CRP-RCEP National Certification also available and encouraged upon completion of local certification.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of occupations, job skills, labor trends and employer marketing.
  • Experienced in assessing behaviors, barriers and job related skills for appropriate plan development and service provision leading to economic self-sufficiency for program participants.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and familiar with database programs.
  • Good interpersonal skills, team oriented and a good communicator.
  • Able to effectively work with minimal supervision.
