Project Operations Manager

Join one of the nation’s most respected leaders in charitable giving, The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and our national entity, Greater Horizons, as a Project Operations Manager. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Vice President of Project Operations and is based in our Kansas City office, with local travel and hybrid flexibility after a successful training period.? 

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead projects from initial planning through execution. 

  • Serve as a trusted resource for project teams, facilitating clear communication. 

  • Support change management strategies to ensure successful adoption. 

  • Work as a thought partner within the project management office to deliver projects on time, within scope, and align with strategic goals. 

  • Act as Product Owner for our project management platform, driving system configuration and engagement. 

  • Create dashboards, reports, and documentation to support decision-making. 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • An innovative mindset, a commitment to high-quality outcomes, and a natural curiosity to learn and innovate. 

  • A bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with planning and managing multiple projects.  

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders,  

  • An eagerness to learn and teach others as you explore new challenges. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Proven technical aptitude with project management tools, CRM, and reporting systems.  

  • Certification in project management, business analysis, or change management preferred.
