Founded in 1969 by the Daughters of Charity and the Ladies of Charity of Metropolitan Kansas City, Seton Center, a Community Health Ministry of Ascension Health, is dedicated to serving neighbors in need in Kansas City’s urban core.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Seton Center has evolved into a comprehensive community and neighborhood center providing a food pantry, rent and utility assistance, thrift store, and one of Kansas City’s largest safety net dental clinics.

Seton Center is funded through foundation grants, donations from individuals, corporations, civic groups and faith communities, and fees for dental services.

What you will do:

This position is a part-time role; schedule will be made based off of organization needs. The driver will be responsible for picking up large orders of food, hygiene products, etc. at offsite locations, driving the products back to Seton Center, and assisting with unloading products. The driver will also conduct other duties as assigned. This role is a part time position and scheduling will vary depending upon pick up dates and times.

• Responsible for complying with all traffic and corporate regulations
• Complete all pre and post shift activities to ensure safety for all
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Possess a valid class B CDL license or permit.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including background check
• Must have a safe driving record
• Ability to work a varying schedule
• Reliable associate with excellent customer service skills
• Patient, responsible, assertive, and understanding

Compensation:  From $17.00

Work Location: Seton Center is open Monday through Friday and work will take place on site at Seton Center, 2816 E 23rd Street, Kansas City, MO 64127.
