KC Job Fair Puts New Opportunities Within Reach

KANSAS CITY, MO. — May 4, 2023 — Top Kansas City-area employers, including Amazon, Burns & McDonnell, City of Overland Park, Kansas City Public Schools, Sysco, and many more will be at the WEN’s KC Job Fair on Wednesday, May 31st, from 1pm to 4pm at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center located at 2345 McGee Street, Kansas City, MO 64108.

The career fair will benefit Women’s Employment Network (WEN), a non-profit organization that offers job-search training, financial coaching, professional case management, and other resources to help women obtain economic independence through sustained employment. WEN is a proud partner of the OneKC for Women alliance, which includes: Women's Employment Network, Women's Business Center, Women's Capital Connection and Women Lead Initiative.

"Women’s Employment Network continues to work to address the needs of job seekers and the Kansas City business community. This job fair is one way we are helping businesses match qualified individuals with job openings," said Sherry Turner, President of WEN and Founder of OneKC for Women.

All are welcome to attend the job fair. Admission to the event is FREE for job seekers and parking will be validated for up to three hours. No registration is required. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes.
