SUMMARY:Let's Connect: Events with Jen Newell
DESCRIPTION:2020 taught us that we can still raise funds\, create meaningful mission moments\, and have a whole lot of fun through our computer screens. The event landscape is forever changed\, and with health guidance still encouraging social distancing\, it's time to think about how to evolve our events in the new year. If you've already created a virtual event or you're planning on one in the future\, then this session is for you.\n\n\n\nJoin Jen Newell\, Events Manager at Nonprofit Connect\, to gain practical strategies for creating an unforgettable virtual experience. She will share her tips\, lessons learned\, and ideas for the future during this interactive session.\n\n\n\nThen\, we'll use breakout rooms to facilitate small group brainstorming discussions. Everyone will have the opportunity to share and learn new strategies on how to engage event attendees virtually\, maintain sponsorship benefits\, and manage the chaos of virtual events.\n\n\n\nThis is a program of the Let's Connect Virtual Discussion Series. \n\nSpeakers:\n\n\n\nJen Newell knows how to put on a good show. With a decade of experience coordinating and managing events\, Jen delights in the details. Her practical approach ensures each event is well-organized\, logistically smooth\, and provides an attendee experience to remember.
