SUMMARY:Let's Connect: Programs + Direct Service with Nathan Ross
DESCRIPTION:You've heard about self-care\, but are you practicing good team care? Showing up every day and consistently putting your best face forward for your clients can sometimes be a struggle. As program leaders\, balancing supportive encouragement and pushing for outcomes is equally difficult. Fortunately\, there are proven strategies to help you and your team reset and continue to provide new opportunities for success.\n\n\n\nNathan Ross\, VP of Children and Youth Programs at FosterAdopt Connect\, will share his approach to "team care" important ways to provide self-care to your program team. Nathan will also share his organization's approach to "no eject programming" where each program participant is given as many opportunities to be successful as they want. These supportive\, human-centered approaches are a lot of work\, but for Nathan and his team\, they're worth it!\n\n\n\nThen\, we'll use breakout rooms to facilitate small group discussions. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm ways to boost team morale\, exchange ideas for keeping motivated during this on-going pandemic\, and gain new insight from your nonprofit peers.
