Ivanhoe Park Celebration

The Ivanhoe Park Celebration commemorates the years of work and progress put into the Ivanhoe Park. Once a hub of gang violence, drug activity, and prostitution, the Ivanhoe Park is now reclaimed into a welcoming, vibrant space reflecting the pride of Ivanhoe. With each celebration, we reinforce the shared commitment amongst Ivanhoe for a better and brighter future. Attendees can expect a fun-filled day with free food, drinks, and live entertainment. Numerous fun activities will be hosted, such as a live petting zoo, a bubble party, a mobile stem lab, a visit from the KCFD fire truck, bouncy houses, face painting, a cake walk, horseback riding, and more. Alongside the fun includes tables from community resources like MothersInCharge, the Heartland Conservation Alliance, and more. And best of all, this entire day is FREE!
