Looking for a fun team-building outdoor experience? Volunteer with our Heartland Tree Alliance program to plant small trees in a riparian area near Shoal Creek (north of the river) in Kansas City, Missouri! Riparian areas are the interface between land and a river or stream. These areas are significant in environmental management because of their role in soil conservation, habitat biodiversity and the influence they have on fauna and aquatic ecosystems.

The KCCG Young Professionals Board (YPB) is a group of people aimed at expanding the capacity of KCCG by supporting the organization with events, networking, and strategic partnerships. The Board will consist of 10-15 professionals who are under the age of 35.
