About the Artist

Kim Rayburn has been creating art for more than 30 years. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Kentucky, where she also pursued an independent study in Art Therapy. Bringing a unique perspective to her work, Kim is also a practicing nurse.

Her Grace Series emerged through conversations with women navigating life's most profound moments and transitions. Whether facing adversity, loss, health challenges, grief, or moments of extraordinary joy, Kim observed a common thread: the remarkable ability to rise, reinvent, recharge, and emerge stronger. Their resilience became the inspiration behind this collection.

Deeply moved by the strength she has discovered within herself and inspired by the women around her, Kim created these works as a tribute to the power of grace. Grace is something we all need, something we all give, and something we all deserve to receive.

Through this collection, Kim invites viewers to spend time with each piece, discover their own connection to the stories represented, and experience the beauty, strength, and grace woven throughout the series.
