Story Connections is a program for those experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. This specially designed program will create a meaningful museum experience that ignites conversation inspired by the collection between participants and facilitators, and provides community support for this audience. Participants will experience a 30-minute, object-based tour and discussion in the gallery, followed by refreshments and further conversation with a hands-on focus in the Museum’s education space. Doors open at 1:30 PM to explore the featured gallery before the tour. This program is offered in partnership with the Heart of America Chapter of The Alzheimer’s Association and the I’m Still Here Foundation.
