As KC prepares for the FIFA World Cup, gain skills to identify high-risk youth and report trafficking concerns that keep kids safe. As Kansas City prepares to welcome visitors for the FIFA World Cup, the Child Protection Center's CSEC Specialist and the Missouri Network Against Child Abuse's CSEC Specialist are partnering to educate community members with the knowledge and confidence to help keep children safe. This training provides an essential overview of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) and sports trafficking, with a focus on how to recognize signs of youth at risk, respond appropriately when concerns arise, and report suspicions to protect vulnerable children. Participants will learn how to identify red flags, and know what steps to take if they observe concerning behavior or suspect exploitation during World Cup events, fan fests, or related activities. This session empowers our community to safeguard children.
