Volunteer Opportunities

The Northland Symphony Orchestra Association is looking to add to our grant committee. We enriches our community through free, high-quality orchestral performances that unite professional and community musicians, while also providing educational opportunities for all.

What We’re Looking For We welcome individuals with diverse professional and lived experiences. Ideal candidates may bring strengths in one or more of the following areas: · Nonprofit governance · Finance, law, or real estate · Healthcare, social services, or disability advocacy · Community development or fundraising · Strategic planning or organizational growth

The Fundraising Committee the Board’s efforts to secure contributed revenue in support of the organization’s mission, artistic excellence, and long-term sustainability. In collaboration with staff, fellow board members, and volunteers, the Committee fosters a culture of philanthropy and ensures effective planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising initiatives.

We are looking for individuals interested in graphic design using Canva. Or help with our e-news and writing copy utilizing MailChimp. We are a working board and collaborate to create marketing aspects for our free orchestral community concerts and fundraising events.
