Volunteer Opportunities

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are appointed by judges to support children in foster care. They meet regularly with their assigned child, consult with professionals, and gather information from families and placements, spending about 10–12 hours per month. General volunteers also help CASA through events, committees, and donation drives.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with our teen and adult social groups and also childcare for siblings of our little ones with Down syndrome. These sessions occur on Monday and Tuesday evenings and also Friday and Saturday mornings. We are able to offer so many supports and services because of our volunteers who offer their time, talent and their hearts!

MOCSA exists to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. MOCSA Volunteers help make our mission possible by helping in the hospital, over the phone, and in the classroom.

The Operations Committee supports the orchestra by ensuring that its administrative and production systems function smoothly and effectively. Platte Land Trust (PLT) is a regional conservation organization partnering with landowners since 1998 to protect and conserve their land for wildlife, agriculture, and recreation. We partner with voluntary landowners and use conservation easements as the primary real estate tool. PLT is currently an all volunteer organization and working to hire staff in the near future.
