About Us

For (62) years Clay County Clothes Closet has facilitated an impactful clothing resource program for underserved individuals residing in the Kansas City Metro Northland Community.

Partnering with area schools and social service agencies providing needs assessments and referrals, “Clothing Families – Empowering Lives” resource program directly serves over 2,700 Northland Community low-income individuals annually, providing them the opportunity to select a wardrobe of clothing to meet their personal need and style for school, work and community activities and helping to remove barriers for success in school and the workforce.

CCCC facilitates its clothing resource program with by a staff of (50) volunteers who donate over 10,500 hours annually. The program is facilitated in a building owned by the organization at 3939 N. Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64117, which is centrally located within the area of service.
