Volunteer Opportunities

Currently, Camp Fire Heartland serves as the programmatic arm of Camp Fire’s National Headquarters, located in Kansas City. However, holding true to its historical significance, Camp Fire Heartland will return to independent council status by July 1, 2020. New members will join the Advisory Council who will support the transition of Camp Fire Heartland to independent status and will ultimately serve as founding board members absorbing all duties of board governance.

Young people want to shape the world. Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are. In Camp Fire, it begins now. Light the fire within.

In God's Corner Ministry: Where Mental Health and Faith Connect is looking to expand our current board with people passionate about our work. The board chair should also have experience serving on a nonprofit board, leadership and organizational skills, and the desire to assist in growing our board to be the effective body of governance of the nonprofit.
