American Cancer Society Kansas City Area Board Membership [Start 2027]

The American Cancer Society's Kansas City Chairman’s Circle (CC) is intended to provide a diverse executive leadership forum for advancing the our life-saving mission. This advocacy includes assisting ACS staff by promoting program priorities and informing the public about ACS organizational priorities. Chairman’s Circle members will be asked to assist by advancing mission priorities, securing financial support, recognizing key contributors and building relationships with community leaders.

Heartland Conservation Alliance Board Treasurer

The Heartland Conservation Alliance (HCA) Board Treasurer provides primary oversight of the corporation’s financial administration and health, working closely with the Executive Director and Board President. This leadership role involves reviewing financial reports, advising the Board on strategic planning, budgeting, and long-term sustainability, and ensuring compliance and fiscal integrity for HCA’s mission to protect the Blue River watershed.

The Heartland Conservation Alliance works with partners to protect, connect, and restore the Blue River watershed and its urban green spaces for the benefit and enjoyment of all.

Kanbe's Volunteer Engagement Committee

Members of this committee will act as champions for Kanbe’s Markets within their workplaces and professional circles—encouraging hands-on participation, planning engaging volunteer opportunities, and helping their companies and networks connect meaningfully to Kanbe’s mission.

Platte Land Trust (PLT) is a regional conservation organization partnering with landowners since 1998 to protect and conserve their land for wildlife, agriculture, and recreation. We partner with voluntary landowners and use conservation easements as the primary real estate tool. PLT is currently an all volunteer organization and working to hire staff in the near future.
