Groundhog Run benefiting the children of Ability KC has raised more than $4.75 million for children with special needs since its inception in 1982. In January of 2018, nearly 4,000 runners filled the tunnels of Hunt Midwest SubTropolis to support the children of Ability KC. In 2019, Ability KC is looking for 200 volunteers to help host the generous runners of Kansas City. Volunteer opportunities run from Friday January 25th throughout race day on January 27th.
