About Us
KCCLT develops and sells high-quality, perpetually-affordable, owner-occupied housing units exclusively to low and moderate income households. Our houses use affordability subsidies and are typically sold at 20% below market value in order to make them affordable to the most vulnerable households. Through the community land trust model, the affordability subsidy is attached to the land, so that resale upon resale, the subsidy stays with the property and continues to keep it affordable and exclusively available to low income households. Home-ownership builds wealth and stabilizes households and communities.
