About Us

MOCSA’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. Together we can create a community free from sexual assault and abuse.

MOCSA’s service area includes six counties in the bi-state Kansas City metropolitan area: Jackson, Platte, Clay, and Cass Counties in Missouri, and Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas. MOCSA’s education programs for elementary, middle and high school students are available in more than 30 school districts throughout our service area.

MOCSA staff and volunteers provide education and outreach throughout the metro.
Assault Survivor Kits from the Assistance League of Kansas City contain printed references, a change of clothes, and toiletries. Victims' clothing is often taken as evidence, so a change of clothing can be so important.
MOCSA provides age-appropriate education programs for children in elementary, middle, and high schools. We currently work in more than 30 school districts in the Kansas City metro area.
MOCSA has many opportunities for Volunteers interested in serving their community and working to end sexual violence.
