I am a retired social work educator. I am a board member with the League of Women Voters KC and Board Chair with the Center for Neighborhoods. I am involved as a counter at my church and a member of the Stewardship committee. I am also active in the graduate chapter of my Sorority. I am passionate about protecting our democracy, which meets the needs of all people, increasing safety, maintaining a quality free public education and reproductive health care. I believe everyone should be able to make a decent affordable living wage. I hate that we have a houseless crisis in America.
