About Us

The Johnson County Department of Corrections (JCDOC) protects and enhances the community by creating an environment conducive to positive change while balancing public safety. JCDOC operates the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center, Juvenile Detention Center, Adult Residential Center, Intensive Supervision Probation, and House Arrest, ensuring people in custody are supervised and prepared to reenter society. JCDOC supports rehabilitation and reentry while still holding individuals accountable.
