About Us

The Kansas City Irish Center is the hub of Kansas City Irish Activities, Programs, Music and Educational Opportunities. The Center was opened on St. Patrick’s Day 2007 with the following mission: To support and promote Irish heritage, cultural education, preservation and celebration. With the purchase of the Drexel Hall building in September 2016, the Center now operates an event space, utilized for both Center activities and outside rental events, and manages three tenant spaces in the building.

Year-round programming and activities include genealogy workshops, Irish language classes, monthly book club, Irish music and dance classes, author talks, film nights, and concerts.
